Major Projects Undertaken by the Coboconk and District Lions Club

  • ​​​the Coboconk Lions Community Hall​
  • the Lions Park in Coboconk
  • We sponsored the training of a canine sight Guide Dog which was assigned to a citizen in the City of Kawartha Lakes and we are currently sponsoring a second Guide Dog 
  • the playground equipment and picnic shelter in the Lions Park
  • we partnered with the City of Kawartha Lakes and the Ontario Trillium Foundation to refurbish the Coboconk Lions Park with an arbour stone shoreline, a fountain in the pond, picnic tables, skateboard park and the Pauline Barber Memorial Garden
  • we partnered with the City of Kawartha Lakes and the Coboconk Medical Trust Association to pave the upper Medical Center and Community Center parking lot
  • we financially assisted with the building of the new Summitt Wellness Centre.
  • we financially supported construction of the new Fenelon Falls arena
  • we financially supported the renovations at the Norland Community Centre
  • we financially supported the restoration of the Norland Cenotaph​
