Lion of the Year

On July 3rd, Lion Tony Gibson was awarded our Lion of the Year Award. Tony join our club just a year ago. He has embraced Lions motto WE SERVE. He stepped forward to take on new challenges, such as becoming our webmaster, co-chairing committees (a task he had never performed before), helping out at Camp Kirk after the ice storm, and volunteering where possible with many other Coboconk Lions activities.
Last evening Tony was also sworn in as our 2nd VP. Pictured here is Tony receiving his Lion of the year award from last year’s recipients Lions Colleen and Ed McMahon. |
